But for many children in Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Saba and Sint Eustatius, that is far from guaranteed. Poverty, unsafe home situations and unequal opportunities make it difficult for children to grow up carefree and discover their full potential.
These are islands close to our hearts. That is exactly why we said yes when Kinderpostzegels asked us to support their new programme in the Caribbean.
Together, we are working towards a future where every child in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom can grow up safely, build resilience and have the opportunity to develop their talents.
Together with local partners, Kinderpostzegels creates safe spaces within communities across the Caribbean. Places where children can find support, develop their talents and receive the guidance they need to build a brighter future. Children are also actively involved in decisions that improve their own surroundings, strengthening families and communities from within.
